MY JOURNEY
In life, you are a result of the choices you make.
In September 2012, I chose to focus on being the best version of myself, in all facets of life.
Has it been easy? No.
Has it been worth it? YES.
Having been fortunate enough to grow up on 3 different continents, change is something that became familiar to me at a young age. My parents (who I owe all my success in life to), did an amazing job of teaching me about the value of hard work and consistency. It didn’t matter where on the planet we found ourselves, one thing was constant, and that was hard work and consistency.
This early life lesson helped lay the foundation to my life's mantra – “Consistency Over Everything”. I truly believe that if you are consistent with something in life, you can master it. This is a philosophy I apply not only to health, but to my professional life as well.
As a full time professional at one of the world's largest tech companies, life is often hectic. Throw in my responsibilities as a husband & father of 2 girls, and it can be hard to find time to stay healthy. But as I always say, one of the biggest benefits of being an adult, is being able to decide how you spend your free time.
If there is one thing I have learned on my current journey, it is this. There is no such thing as “too busy”, there are just different levels of priorities. At the end of the day, you decide what is priority to you.
