3 distinct phases of my workout journey so far #TBT 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣9️⃣ - 3 years into my workout journey (2006 was the first time I ever stepped foot onto a gym floor). At this point, I knew very little about working out. Even though I had been working out for 3 years already, working out wasn't a habit. Because I played a lot of soccer and was generally active, I was able to mantain the physique that you see in the picture. I definitely at this point had not made the connection between achieving my goals and what role consistency & nutrition could play in helping me achieve said goals 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣2️⃣ - 6 years into my journey. The best part about this pic is that I did that thing that most people do before they go on a warm destination vacation. I worked out like crazy 2 months leading up to my trip (Sidebar: The pic is from a bachelor party in Hvar, 🇭🇷). I walked around Hvar like I was the most ripped guy on the whole Island. Again, similar to 2009, the all important connection between my goals and what I needed to do to achieve them had still not been made 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣ - 13 years into my journey. The best part about this pic is how much less time I have now than I had back in 2009. In 2009, I was in college, didn't have a full time job, didn't have a spouse, didn't have a mortgage, didn't have any responsiblities (except keep myself alive) and most importantly, did not have a CHILD The morale of the story is this. It does not matter what phase of your life you are in. You are achieve ANYTHING you set your mind to. Time is relative. YOU decide what YOU spend your time on. You can convince yourself that there is no time to do certain things, or you can understand that these things are just not priorities to you and therefore you have made a CONCIOUS decision not to spend time on them #Food4Thought #SeattleFitness #EasyWorkIsWorthless #ConsistencyOverEverything

Mr. “Doesn’t Bench 3 Plates” back with another tip for building a bigger & stonger chest (all without benching 3 plates 😏). If you look at my old pics, you’ll quickly realize that over the last few years, I have put a LOT of work into my chest (and intend to put in a LOT more) This 🎥 focuses on exercises that you can do from the comfort of your home with limited equipment. The 2 pieces of equipment you see my use in this video are called 👇🏾 . ☝🏾Push up grips/stand (I refer to them as the “Hammer Grip” in the video) ✌🏾Perfect Push up [Both can be found on Amazon, Target or Walmart - but get it from Amazon so I can stay employed 😝) . TIP: It’s important that when you’re doing push ups, you don’t use momentum. Go all the way down (slowly) and explode up. Form is key and will result in better results 👌🏾 (Ps...I say in the video that I will do “10” but I end up doing 12...I struggle with math 😩) . A little later than promised (blame Eniola 😫) but here’s another circuit that you HAVE TO try out 💪🏾 I completed this Wednesday morning and I’m not entirely sure that I have fully recovered 😫 (SWIPE 👉🏾 for a 🎥 of all 6 exercises) Exercise in sequential order (as shown in the video) 👇🏾 . 1️⃣ Thrusts to tuck jump 2️⃣ Push-up & Mountain Climbers superset 3️⃣ Kettlebell goblet squats 4️⃣ Renegade Rows 5️⃣ Bench Side Jumps 6️⃣ Abs roller Circuit details 👇🏾 ✅ Perform each exercise for 25 seconds (or as long as you can) ✅ Rest 30 seconds after each set (A “set” = completion of all 6 exercises with no rest between exercises) ✅ Repeat for 5 total sets ✅ Call in to work and let them know you’ll be out for the rest of the week recovering from your workout 😭 As I always emphasize, modify the routine to your fitness level‼️And please share with someone you think will find this useful 🙏🏾 #SeattleFitness #EasyWorkIsWorthless #ConsistencyOverEverything #Fit4Business #NASMCertified #CertifiedPersonalTrainer
